The Ron Draper Kid's Fishing Derby is a free event

held at Reed City Lake the second Saturday in June.

All you need to bring is your own poles and bait. No minnows allowed! 

 

The Registration/Check-in will begin at 8:30 am and fishing will be from 9:00-10:00 am.      

At 9:00am we will signal the start of the fishing and at 10:00am we will signal the end of fishing. There will be an awards ceremony and refreshments following.

All participants registered by May 31st  are guaranteed a prize.

Fishing is allowed at Reed City Lake with a current HPD fishing permit and an Illinois Fishing License.  Register online for the fishing permit or stop by the Recreation Center.
